Living in capital city of India is like a mixed bag of pros and cons attached to it. Modern infrastructure, apt availability of necessities, easy accessibility are all the good sides of the coin. The other picture includes – neck to neck traffic jams, high level of air pollutants and its health hazards. Every year the air around us is getting sicker and causing respiratory problems in kids and adults, alike. It’s not just the outside air which is harmful, even the indoors are contaminated.

  • I had used the product in bathrooms were the pungent odour is maximum. With a use of three days, I could feel the reduction in unpleasant odour in bathroom.
  • Also, placed it in my room and could feel the difference in air we breathe in. I can say this for sure because my allergy has definitely improved and coughing has reduced. Thus, the indoor air is much cleaner and fresh now.

Next, I am going to use it in my wardrobe to observe the change.

Last Chapter

30 June,2015

Natasha and Ananth had planned to go on vacation before the baby comes. The two of them wanted to spend some time together before they became three.

Ananth had kept the destination a secret and taken up all the responsibility from planning the vacation to completing all bookings. Natasha knew that they were going out of the country because Ananth had insisted for her to take all necessary vaccinations before travelling. She was still unsure of whether it was a beach vacation or mountains. Ananth even took care of her packing.

‘Ananth, give me a hint. I should know whether I am going to look like a buffoon in swimwear or will have to carry extra weight of woolens along with the baby bump!’, Natasha gave a last attempt to know the destination. Still Ananth gave her no clue.

The day had finally arrived when they would be going on their official BabyMoon. Mumbai weather is known to be unpredictable in the monsoons and it had been raining incessantly since last night.

‘Nats, we will leave early for airport as the roads might be jammed due to rains. Be ready by 4.’, Ananth told her before leaving for office in the morning.

As the day progressed Natasha was getting worried because of the weather. But, she brushed aside the negative thoughts and focused on the upcoming trip.

‘I am leaving from office and should be home on time’, told Ananth on the phone call.

‘Okay, See you soon!’

By now, there was news of water filling up on streets. ‘It happens every year’, thought Natasha. She was surfing news channels to get the current updates about the situation in the city. The JVLR highway was blocked and so were the underpasses in Andheri.  Thoughts of Ananth not reaching home on time were creating havoc in her mind. The clock struck 3:30, when she her phone buzzed.

‘Hello, where are you? When are you reaching home?’, blurted Natasha as soon as she picked up the call. All she wanted was to spend some quiet time with Ananth and weather was playing games now.

My fault?

Source: Pexel

I am a child who loves to go to school and play with her friends. I am the one who waits for her daddy to come home and pamper me. I am a happy child trying to enjoy my childhood.

I am a young girl trying to complete my education. I am trying to learn as much as I can. I had to fight at home to take admission in university.

I am a women trying to be independent. I am doing my best to get the recognition that I deserve. I am investing same hours at work as any other person would.

I am a mother living for her child. I live to hold them, love them, cuddle them. I spend my days and nights worrying about my child. Watching them grow brings me all the joy I need.

I am a grandmother who loves to spoil her grandkids. I knit sweaters for thwm and feed them all delicacies I can. I wait for their phone calls and summer vacations.

I am not creating a havoc in your life. I am living a simple life to fulfill my needs and desires. Then why, every second of the day, one amongst many like me is tortured, raped and killed! Did I do you any harm? Is it my fault that I exist? I am even killed before I take birth. Why do I suffer? What is my fault?

This is a break from my original posts, but I could not stop myself from penning down my thoughts. Enough is enough. I have to raise a voice now and hope you will too.

Time for positivity! #MyFriendAlexa

The year 2017 has been a mixed bag for me till now. Ups & downs, highs & lows. All that you can imagine jumbled up in few months.  Only thing keeping me sane is thinking positive.  Every day has been a new learning – both personally & professionally. I guess this is part of life.

To be honest, staying positive does not come very easily.  We need to make extra efforts on some days. Even getting out of bed & going to work seems like a burden. That’s how I have felt on few days. But, at the end I know this too shall pass.  Maybe someday when I am able to disconnect from current events I will write more about it.

In the coming month I intend to write about all things happy – little bit of travel, food & life. Travelling coupled together with good food can make life impressive. Talking about food reminds me that it’s time for my Alexa ranking to lose some weight. It has gained a lot & current Global Alexa Rank is 11,589,035.

‘I am taking My Alexa rank to the next level with Blogchatter‘ . Time for happy blogging! 🙂

After all this while? -Harry Potter fever!

The 11-year old boy Harry Potter living under the staircase of his aunt’s house had gotten a surprise on his birthday. Unknown of his glorious past he had never thought his life would turn around like this. The admission letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was a blessing in disguise.

Who can forget the amazed look on Harry’s face when he reached Platform 9 3/4 for the first time? I am sure all of us had wanted to share the train ride with him. Harry Potter had made my school life interesting & all the free time was spent learning the magical spells.

Harry, Hermione & Ron had set friendship goals for us. With them I realized nothing is impossible if I have my friends with me. They taught us that with true friends you can tackle anything.  I had learnt that life is to be lived in small moments & not waiting for the bigger events.

And, how can I miss the lesson of love that Harry Potter taught me. The forever kind of Love…love between friends, love that a professor has for his students, love that Lily had for her son Harry and lastly the love Snape had for Lily.

After all this time?’ ‘Always,’

I remember reading Harry Potter even during my board exams preparation leaves. If only we had an exam on this subject! Even today, I can watch the movie or read the novel infinite times. Thanks to Blogchatter for giving me a reason to relive the Potter Mania.

Cheers to 20 more years of love, laughter and friendship! 🙂
