Life’s pattern or puzzle! #Writebravely

Ding-dong…Ding-dong…The pattern of door bell ringing at 6 in morning! Mr. Hubby opens the door lazily. On rare occassions, I do get up with sleepy eyes to welcome the house-help.

‘Didi, what should I cook for breakfast & lunch’, asks the cook everyday. And, as my sleep is broken from the consistent door bell, I try to recall all the ingredients in fridge. After much hassle & efforts the breakfast is done and lunches are packed. Mr. Hubby rushes for his office, while I head back to my unkempt bed to catch up on some sleep. Alas, I am reminded of my office soon and the struggle continues!

The day in office passes in a jiffy with coding, meetings, blah – blah. Heading back home to cook’s same query about what to make for dinner. And, the life circle continues with the same pattern day in & day out.

Throughout the day there are many instances, which can upset my daily routine. Maids not arriving on time or being stuck in traffic jam. Code not working or a heated discussion within the team.  Yet, all of these small instances fit in like a puzzle and complete my day.

Is life really a set of patterns or the pieces of puzzle? What do you think?  Do share your thoughts with us. 🙂

Life is surely a beautiful pattern when all the pieces of the puzzle fall into its right place….the jigsaw is what makes life Interesting, isn’t it?

I don’t have a fixed routine, so the pattern keeps changing. Interesting question there. Instead of finding the pieces of puzzle, I prefer understanding the patterns.

A thought provoking question. I feel, life is more of a pattern. rather we are surrounded with pattern as you described in your day. However, there are puzzles to keep the boring patterns in check, either through happiness or sadness. After all, life is full of ups and downs.

Hey Disha, actually we all create patterns and if it is not followed we get irked.

    Cheers

True to some extent, but at times things dont follow our patterns. That’s when the puzzle pieces fit in. 🙂

It’s a pattern followed by every married woman however, you can always spice it with a holiday and maybe some thoughts like life is too short to live in a pattern all day, everyday! What say..

As you said, life is too short to live in a pattern all day, everyday. And we need to add to the spice of life. 🙂

On some days the pattern is comforting and on some it seems like a mundane routine. We want both. A surprise to break it would be welcome, wouldn’t it?

And here I am, gave up my corporate job because I just couldn’t fit into the puzzle of life. Sigh.

Interesting. I like life with a set pattern mostly. Any deviation from the routine is upsetting.
And yes, life is a puzzle, while some pieces of the puzzle gets fitted/sorted easily and some take more time and rearranging but it works out in the end.

True, even the puzzle sets in the pattern. All is well that ends well.

Isn’t it a bit of both for all living beings? I don’t think we could survive without a pattern

Interesting question, ‘Is life really a set of patterns or the pieces of puzzle? What do you think? ‘

I would say, a beautiful pattern when all the pieces of the puzzle fall in place 🙂

You chronicled the day’s schedule so well that it almost reflects pattern of every suburban couple!
I feel the set pattern is just fine to carry on the life smoothly. And as and when it gets insipid, we can always add a yearly pattern of some vacation to it! And the spice of this pattern is maids going on leave… it then is a pattern of utter chaos!
    Lovely read Disha!
