Parenting 101 – My wishes for my child!

While pregnant, I used to wish for 1000 things I want for my child. And, as I held my child in my arms for the first time, all those things became insignificant. Here are all the real wishes I have for my child.

I wish for you to be happy and healthy.

I wish for you to be kind and gentle.

I wish for you to love yourself and others around you.

I wish for you to have an open heart & be acceptable of others unlike you.

I wish for you to have wisdom to choose right from the wrong.

I wish for you to be passionate about all that you do.

I wish for you to never lose hope even when you fail.

I wish for you to be you & never change because society wants you too.

I wish for you to find great friends who never leave your side.

I wish for you to find the love of your life.

And, I want you to remember that I will be here for you always!

Do you wish for all the same things for your child? What do you wish for your child the most? Do share your thoughts with us. Looking forward to hear from you. And, if you liked the post then share it with other parents around you.

This is the fifth post for #MyFriendAlexa campaign. I am taking my Alexa rank to the next level with Blogchatter. Read my last post on parenting 101 here.

Lovely thought. I echo your sentiments. Having a healthy and kind hearted child with a strong mind to follow their heart are the perfect wishes for a happy and healthy child.

Awww such a beautifully-written post!! Loved this. I agree with everything, and would add that when kids grow up they should be kind, loving, generous people. There is so much “bad” in our world and I wish every child be a light and have a positive influence on those they encounter.

      (27th September 2018 - 18:53)

Yes, that’s a beautiful thing to wish for. Kids of today are future of tomorrow and hope they can add light to the world. 🙂

Wonderful! You have written in the poetic way. I hope your child will have a wonderful life. Just don’t put the pressure of your expectations on him Or her and don’t compare with anyone.

      Dishki

      (23rd September 2018 - 23:24)

Thanks! And yes, I am very clear about it, no comparing and he will get to decide what he wants in his life. 🙂
