Love comes in all forms! #AtoZChallenge

‘Ananth, don’t be a kid and stop fooling around. You are not going with me.’,chided Natasha.

‘Nats, I am already missing out so much. You can’t say no every time. I have not heard the heartbeat since so long’, replied Ananth with puppy eyes.

‘It’s just a normal routine checkup and Maa is going with me. I will record the heartbeat for you.You still need to rest at least on weekends.’, said Natasha.

This was a normal routine in Natasha’s household since last two months. Ananth’s movement was still restricted because of his surgery and he always complained about not being able to accompany Natasha for her doctor’s visit. He was trying all he could to help her with the pregnancy. She is almost half way through her pregnancy and there are numerous incidents that she could recall.

Just last week she was craving for her favorite ice cream late night and crying because she could not go out to eat it.Blame her hormones,but she was angry at Ananth for not being able to drive and take her out. Ananth very calmly ordered a home delivery for her ice cream.

Another day she was being very forgetful and was trying to open the car with her home keys. After trying for minutes she turned around to find Ananth coming with the original keys. Once when she wanted to bake a cake at home with zero ingredients available and he made a cake out of Dhokla mixture. It might not have tasted like a chocolate cake but it’s the best she ever had.

She cannot even forget the time when she had forgotten to turn off the gas stove while leaving for work in the morning. When she had returned in the evening, the house smelled of gas. She had never seen him so furious. He might not speak but she understood his concern even when he was angry.

All these incidents might look small to others, but every effort counts. It made her fall in love all over again with Ananth. It’s rightly said that love comes in all forms, silence and words alike.
