Bengaluru (Bangalore) has more to it than just being the IT Capital of India. It offers you diverse food options. Name it & you can have it. For foodies like me this is blessing. After a hard day at work, nothing can cheer me up like food! Starting my day from idli-wada, Momos in the evening & parathas for dinner. Yummy…
I have been in Bangalore for an almost two years now & experimented a lot across the town in search of food. Below is the list of few of my favorite food joints in the city.
Hangout Cafe , Koramangala – Found it by chance last year while roaming on the streets. Cozy place to sit & enjoy talking with friends/date. It used to empty in the beginning, but of late it has become crowded. Enjoy the Oreo Cookie Shake & the Kitkat Shake they offer.
Serafina, Koramangala – One word to describe it “Cute”. The place is just cute with loads of seating space. Staff too is friendly. They have live music too! I was out on date with Mr. Hubby & the singer came up to our table & had sung a romantic song. Live music on date. Made my day 🙂
Om Made Cafe, Koramangala – Nice rooftop cafe & gives a good view of surrounding area. With cool breeze in evening this is the place to be. Offers awesome sandwiches.
Art Blend Cafe, HSR – This is my favorite place to hangout. One might even miss the place while searching for it. Had spent my Christmas evening there. Staff is friendly. It has a homely kind of ambiance. Displays art pieces for sale. Like the food options that they offer. I have earlier written about my experience at this cafe.Click here to read it.
Caffe Pascucci, Jayanagar – Enjoy the pastas here after shopping in Jayanagar market. One of the best pizzas that I have had in Bangalore.
I & Monkey, Indiranagar – I remember this place because of the trouble we went through to reach here. Bangalore rains had surprised us that day & we were on two-wheeler. Almost drenched by the time we reached here & to top it we were lost on the way. Entered the place & did not regret it a bit. Place was not too crowded, jumped to a corner table. Offers great variety of veg options.
Kapoor’s Cafe, Whitefield – I often crave for Parathas & had instantly fallen in love with Kapoor’s Cafe. Parathas loaded with butter & butter milk in kulhad. Most satisfying feeling ever 🙂
The Punjabi Rasoi, HSR – Another place to satisfy your craving for Punjabi food. Have been here umpteen times. Tough to find place on weekends. Offers great range of North Indian food.
Halli Mane, Malleshwaram – This place does not need much introduction. Idli-sambhar, crispy dosa, Kerala Porata, Akki Roti & the filter coffee. Love it all. Authentic taste for experiencing the local cuisines. Must visit if you are in Malleshwaram.
Big Brewsky, Sarajapura Road – Bangalore has tons of breweries to visit. Like this place for the ambiance. If you are planning to visit, grab the poolside seats. Those are the best ones.
The Fisherman’s Wharf, Sarjapura Road – Enjoy Goa in Bangalore ! They did put loads of thought in designing the place. And it came out perfect. Service is also swift & has courteous staff.
This is just a small list of places that I like in Bangalore. There are so many more in left to go. Do let me know your favorite restaurants or cafe.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Do not forget to like, share, subscribe & comment 🙂
